The UK has long had a reputation as being a nation of ‘shopkeepers’ – which indicates that we are also a nation of shoppers!
COVID-19 may have changed the way we live BUT over the last few weeks we have still indulged in one of our biggest past times – shopping.
In the early stages of the virus it was panic buying essentials – remember the toilet roll shortage?
This has now evolved and over the last couple of weeks, there has been a massive rise in sales of non-essential items such as clothes, shoes, luxury items, birthday presents for others…
The list goes on.
Many ‘shopkeepers’ have ‘dipped their toes’ in the online market – they have had to, to ensure that the cash continues to flow. And this has raised further challenges to meet customer’s expectations in delivery and packaging.
Where you once may have been a bricks and mortar store have you had to adapt and sell online?
If so, what are you doing to make you stand out?
One thing is crucial, we have to make sure that the packages are delivered on time – we still all want things NOW even in these more relaxed times.
If you are struggling to keep up with your orders, or if selling online is brand new to you then give me a call on 01634 660 231 and I’d be happy to chat through some ways in which we can help you.
