What are the stats for the week?
As pubs, restaurants, cinemas, hotels and theme parks re-open this weekend many of us are breathing a sigh of relief. Others are filled with trepidation…
Whilst we have been in lockdown here in the UK throughout March, April, May and June the OFEX team have been relentlessly packing orders for our customers.
Whilst the majority of the country has been in lockdown the dedicated OFEX team have been working all this time at the warehouse; busy picking and packing 46,786 items for our customers making sure all our customers kept earning money and that their customers in turn remained happy.
Throughout this, we have complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of Covid-19 and have implemented new working procedures and working methodologies to ensure all our OFEX team stay safe.
We have:
- carried out the Covid-19 risk assessment.
- been cleaning, handwashing and adding hygiene procedures in line with the guidance
- taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home (some of whom still are) until the schools return in earnest in September.
- taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace, rearranging work-stations and picking and packing methodologies to ensure these guidelines are respected.
- done everything practical to manage transmission risk.
We will continue to implement these new working procedures, which I have already become a new way of life for us over the last four months, as lockdown eases.
