Focus on the potential positive ripple effect you can generate

The Ripple Effect

Whilst we’ve all witnessed countless negative impacts of the ripple effect in the last six months particularly, it is important to remember the positive ones too.

Particularly after the bad news this week of halting lockdown release due to a second wave.

This example really warmed the cockles of my heart:

A customer of ours told me recently that a UK based sewing manufacturer would have shut down and gone out of business permanently had OFEX not remained open these last six months. Our customers orders has single handedly kept them afloat.

For those of us fortunate enough to be working in an industry that can continue to operate and is thriving, it is our responsibility to create our own positive ripple effects in whatever we do at work and at home.

You never know the onwards impact you can be making.

Wikipedia Definition: A ripple effect is a situation in which, like ripples expanding across the water when an object is dropped into it, an effect from an initial state can be followed outwards incrementally. The ripple effect is often used colloquially to mean a multiplier in macroeconomics.
